How should your website design look like and why not having the search engine optimization pre-implemented within the source-code development?

I would say there are a lot of ways you can use building up your website, but since I saw how websites are being done in VIB Solutions, I can now comment their way as being very successful.

Most companies project their customers’ website with following simple rules like: Gathering the info, planning & assignments, design, development, testing, content filling. This is what I was thinking the correct way of completing a project within a normal timeframe of 1 human month.

Follow what I have learnt during my sessions with the project coordinators within the VIB Solutions and you’d see some great improvements.

Features:
- They use some premade engines that they have developed in order to help out their production line
- Pre-done template database that the client can choose a template base from.
- Analyzing the project before being started – very good one.
- Very good coordination between the project team leader and the rest of the workflow (client|developers|designers|etc.)
- Last but not least, SEO pre-integration within the module development.

I would like to put attention to the last point in the abovementioned feature cluster, where the “Search Engine Optimization” basis are implemented before even the customer knows what design he will be choosing. There is one important thing nowadays – to appear in the search engines and to get more and more visits and especially more than your competitors.

The guys there have developed the so called “core” engine that they include in every project they make. This main module seems to be helping a lot for future search engine top ranking as people actually see the results and great the company for this success.

This module allows the customer to always be able to change the title, keywords, description of the each page and globally, which helps a lot the search engine optimization and hits the 1rst page in Google within couple of months (of course it depends on the keywords that are used).

In order to cut down the story, I would like to summarize the objectives that I am trying to explain:

• Always think for SEO before starting the website and especially before constructing the content of your future website
• Use more simple steps and a professional company – not some Indian freelancer that will make your website for € 0.99, whereas we all know it costs much more and a good website that sells its content and services is worth spending a bit more for it, knowing and having the security that it will be completed on time and with the desired final result.
• Don’t ask too much for a flash website – it slows down the SEO. Maybe jquery can make the needed animation on your website – always ask! Also, you can have only flash header, which is better than having the whole website developed in flash!
